Boston day three

Today we took a horse and buggy ride around the local area. The reins were held by a guy named Bob who let his horse Barney do the route by memory while he talked about his German Indian ancestry, politics and why the US middle class would have started a war if Hilary Clinton had won the election. Hmm! Anyway, the tour was very interesting despite the constant need to be tactful.

We also took the lift up to the 26th floor observation deck of the hotel. Enjoy some photos of the view:

1 and 2. Horse and buggy.

3 and 4. Harbour views.

5. Roof top restaurant next door. A meal with a view.

6. View of the State House. The Declaration of Independence was read from its balcony on 4 July 1776.

7. Welcome to Boston peak hour

8. Historic tall ship.
