The cruise
ends tomorrow so this will be the last blog for a couple of days until we
arrive in Boston.
Today Phil
took the movie tour with Jamie and Gary while Sue further stimulated the local
retail sector. Eighty movies have been made on Kauai since the 1940s, including
classics like Pirates of the Caribbean, Jurassic Park, Blue Hawaii and other
Elvis movies, and South Pacific. So there were lots of interesting and pretty
places to see including beautiful Wailua Falls, Hanamaulu Bay, Moloaa Bay and
Hanalei Valley and Hanalei Bay.
Unfortunately
I am having problems downloading photos today and it appears to have something to do with the ship's lousy wifi. Hopefully I will be able to resolve the issue in Boston.
